Amelia Island Shrimp Festival
Shrimp Festival was fantastic! The weather was great, all the booths were fun...jewelry, art, t-shirts, antiques and furniture.
Everyone was invited, including your best friends!
Centre Street from 8th Street to Brett's Restaurant at the harbor features artist's booths on both sides of the street.
There are numerous food/water booths to refresh you along the way. All downtown restaurants are open and serving a full menu of goodies.
Each side street from 2nd Street to 8th Street hosts eclectic wares such as antiques, sculpture, garden accessories, plants, hand painted children's clothes, hats and scrungees and of course T-shirts!
Plus the food: cajun shrimp, fried and boiled shrimp, low country boil, crayfish, corndogs for the little ones and tables right on the water!
Over 100,000 attended over the weekend and several 100 artists were represented!
Join us next year, here on Amelia Island!

That looks like a fun-filled day there at Amelia Island. We are planning to go there next year and we hope we can schedule our vacation the same time as the Shrimp Festival.
